Ingredients

  • 1.5 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1.5 tbsp Butter Unsalted
  • 1 pound Green beans Fresh, Washed, Patted dry, Ends trimmed
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Finely minced
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste
  • 1/4 tsp Red chili flakes Optional

Instructions

  • Heat oil and butter in a large nonstick pan over medium high heat.
  • Add green beans and cook for about 8 minutes, mixing often, until they become tender. Some beans will become golden brown. 
  • Add garlic, salt, pepper, red chili flakes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until garlic is golden brown and fragrant. 
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro, parsley, toasted almonds e.t.c (Optional). Enjoy!
