Quick and easy sweet and spicy chicken recipe, made with simple ingredients over stovetop in 30 minutes. Tender chicken pieces are coated in a sticky sauce.

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1.5 pounds Chicken breast Cut into small 1 inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Finely minced
  • 1/2 cup Onion Cut into 1 inch square pieces
  • 1/2 cup Green peppers Cut into 1 inch square pieces
  • 1/2 cup Pineapples Cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce Low sodium
  • 1-2 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth Low Sodium
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste
  • 1 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch Dissolved in 2 tbsp water


  1. Heat oil in a nonstick pan over medium-high heat.

  2. Add chicken and saute until golden brown.

  3. Add garlic, onions, green pepper, pineapples and cook for a few minutes until the pepper and pineapples are tender. 

  4. Add soy sauce, sriracha sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, salt, pepper, red chili flakes. Mix and cook uncovered for 1-2 minutes.

  5. Mix in dissolved cornstarch.

  6. Cook uncovered until sauce thickens and liquid is reduced and sticky. 

  7. Garnish with finely chopped green onions or finely chopped green chilies or red chili flakes. Enjoy!
