  • 3 tbsp Butter Unsalted
  • 3 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Whole milk
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper To taste


  1. Heat butter in a nonstick saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add flour and whisk until combined.Let it cook and bubble for 1-2 minutes, but keep a close eye and don't let it burn and become brown.

  3. Add milk gradually, while whisking constantly.

  4. Continue cooking and whisking until mixture becomes thick and smooth.

  5. Remove from heat and mix in salt and pepper. Enjoy!
