- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 1 pound Ground beef
- ¾ cup Onion Finely chopped
- 2 tablespoon Garlic Finely minced
- 1 can Tomato sauce 15 oz. can
- 1 can Diced tomatoes 14.5 oz. can
- 1 can Green chiles 7 oz. can
- 1 can Kidney beans 15 oz. can, Drained and rinsed
- 1 can Black beans 15 oz. can, Drained and rinsed
- 1.5 tablespoon Chili powder
- ½ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon Paprika
- 2 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon Granulated sugar
- Salt To taste
- Pepper To taste
- ¼ cup Corn Frozen, Optional
- ¼ cup Toppings of your choice Cilantro, Parsley, Green onions, Sou cream, Jalapenos, Tortilla chips, Olives, Shredded cheese
Heat oil in a large nonstick pot over medium high heat. Add beef and and onion and cook until beef is no longer pink and onion is soft.
Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
Remove from heat and drain grease.
Return to heat and add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, green chiles, kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, cumin powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, cumin powder, sugar, salt, pepper, corn.
Mix to combine everything.
Let it cook uncovered for for about 20 minutes on medium heat. Cook for longer to reduce liquid to your desired consistency.
Garnish with toppings and enjoy!
