Honey Sriracha Sesame Tofu

Quick and easy honey sriracha sesame tofu recipe, made with simple ingredients. It's a 30 minute, vegetarian, sweet and salty one pot dinner idea.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 block Tofu Extra firm, Drained, Pressed, Cut into small 1 inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Finely minced or paste
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Finely minced or paste
  • ¼ cup Soy sauce Low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon Vinegar
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • 3 tablespoon Sriracha Adjust based on your preferenc
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste
  • ½ teaspoon Red chili flakes Optional
  • 2 tablespoon Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds Toasted, For garnish

Instructions

  • Heat sesame oil and olive oil in a nonstick saucepan over medium high heat.
  • Add cubed tofu and saute until golden brown. 
  • Add ginger, garlic and saue for about 1 minute until fragrant. 
  • Add soy sauce, vinegar, honey, Sriracha, salt, pepper, red chili flakes, water and cook until sauce is reduced and thickens to your desired consistency. 
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and enjoy!
