One Pot Boiled Corn on The Cob Recipe

Boiling corn on the cob in butter and milk is quick, easy, and the best way to cook corn on the cob. It requires simple ingredients, one pot and 30 minutes on stovetop.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups Water
  • 1 cup Milk Whole
  • ½ cup Butter Salted or Unsalted
  • 6 Corn Fresh, Whole, Husks removed
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste

Instructions

  • Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. There should be enough water to fill half the pot.
  • Add milk and butter and mix everything together. 
  • Add corn and simmer for about 8 minutes or until just tender. 
  • Remove corn from this liquid and place on a serving dish.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper and enjoy!
