- 1.5 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1.5 tablespoon Butter Unsalted
- 1 pound Green beans Fresh, Washed, Patted dry, Ends trimmed
- 2 tablespoon Garlic Finely minced
- Salt To taste
- Pepper To taste
- ¼ teaspoon Red chili flakes Optional
Heat oil and butter in a large nonstick pan over medium high heat. Add green beans and cook for about 8 minutes, mixing often, until they become tender. Some beans will become golden brown.
Add garlic, salt, pepper, red chili flakes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until garlic is golden brown and fragrant.
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro, parsley, toasted almonds e.t.c (Optional). Enjoy!
