Use low fat cheese and low fat Alfredo sauce. Also, replace butter with olive oil. Those substitutions should make this a bit healthier.

Tips for one pot cajun chicken pasta
- Prior to cooking, cut the chicken really small because it mixes more evenly with the pasta and you get to enjoy it in every single bite.
- Either homemade or store-bought Alfredo sauce can be used.
- Important: Make sure the Alfredo sauce you are using is plain and not seasoned with other herbs and spices.
- Any type of pasta can be used- spaghetti, linguine, penne, elbow, shells e.t.c.
- Use unsalted butter to prevent the meal from becoming too salty.
- To enhance the creaminess, add more Alfredo sauce and parmesan cheese. However, I feel like that dilutes the Cajun flavor. So, add more Cajun seasoning to offset any loss of flavor.
- I used only chicken but you can also make this with sausage and even shrimp.
- Use a large nonstick pot to prevent any sticking and burning.
- I didn't add a lot of veggies but you can add whatever vegetables you like.
- Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning, based on your preference.
- I used only parmesan cheese but you can use a variety of cheeses in this recipe.

Cajun Chicken Pasta is one of my favorite meals! I usually make it with penne but love the idea of spaghetti noodles! Will have to try that next time

I don't like alfredo or parmesan, and didn't have any cream, so I made the recipe without those components. It's so good! I will definitely be making it again. Quick and easy.
